Contrast is Brightness
When you are dealing with direct sunlight conditions, visibility of the LCD is paramount. That is why GDS displays are designed to have the highest outdoor contrast of any outdoor LCD.
Contrast measures the difference between light and dark, so a higher contrast means more visibility, brighter colors even in direct sun or shadow.
Combined with GDS proprietary optical bonding technology, you have the clearest, brightest and most colorful outdoor LCDs available today.

GDS full on-site service warranty will ensure that any problem is quickly resolved. But with GDS' legendary display longevity, it may be a long time before you will ever need to use that service.
When something does need to be replaced, the Midas Aria is designed for quick Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) where a component can be replaced in the field.

IK10 Vandal Proof Glass
The GDS outdoor displays use a thermally tempered and anti-reflective coated front glass that is tested to IK10 standards.

Optically Bonded LCD
Through a proprietary process and formula developed over decades, GDS can provide unsurpassed contrast, brightness and solar protection by bonding the front glass to the LCD with a specially formulated optically clear material. Not only does this increase the strength of the glass, but it also adds to its thermal protection.
